Leading e-scooter brand PURE Electric asked us to step in to give their brand engagement a boost. This was at a time where they were also looking to launch their new ‘Advance’ model range. Combining the excitement of a new product launch with a chance to revamp and revitalise their product displays was perfectly timed.

Our ambition was clear, to improve staff knowledge, confidence, and advocacy as well as the visual appeal of PURE displays within Currys stores around the UK.

Our solution: An exciting promotional trial, tested in specially selected stores, easy to replicate and roll-out across the full Currys network

We selected 10 ‘opportunity’ stores to take part in the trial – we chose the stores that boasted high footfall and mobility department sales so that we could see the impact of our presence and easily measure success.

PURE Electric also wanted our expertise to help build up product knowledge and give Currys’ colleagues the expertise to confidently sell their products.

We ensured at least one Currys colleague received high-level training in PURE Electric products every day throughout the trial. After their training, colleagues could confidently promote and sell PURE Electric scooters and provide engaging demos to tempt customers into buying.

We didn’t stop there. We cast our expert eye over the PURE Electric displays in each store and improved the visual merchandising, making the displays and products both easier to promote as a colleague and explore as a customer.

Our goals included increasing customer interactions and demos, and training up in-house colleagues in the PURE Electric product range. Working with the Currys staff and PURE Electric themselves, we hit every goal.

Jaz did a great job of pulling together a group of product demonstrators in a short space of time, and the detailed feedback we gained from this trial has already helped inform business decisions.
