The Client Services Director is a key role for our business, for our newest client, and our own ambitious growth. You will define new opportunities that push boundaries, establishing ourselves and our client as pioneers in the world of brand engagement.

The Client Services Director is a permanent position and offers hybrid working with a regular presence across the UK Field Operations and Hertford HQ.

The Company

The Role

As Client Services Director you will understand the power of partnership in forging robust, sustainable relationships across all levels of our client team. Identifying opportunities for future growth including test and learn initiatives that will support our desire to ‘build the new’ when it comes to re-shaping the world of retail marketing.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the development strategy of account team to ensure they operate fully as advocates of both Bluesquare and our client
• Create, implement & monitor an account strategy/plan
• Develop agency & client relationships
• Lead and oversee the delivery of projects ensuring the execution of the Statements of work, maintaining tracking, reporting & ROI ensuring the delivery of our service levels in line with the MSA
• Define and attend the cadence of client meetings to present business reviews/updates, providing a status update on all activity against target/completion date
• In tandem with the above, provide feedback to the directors on client development requests with suggestions for improvement, or highlighting areas of concern, which will impact our ROI and sales performance
• Be commercially astute, assessing profitability, the mix of business and the strategic direction the account should take to deliver on this – whilst always maintaining an eye on the value-add we provide
• Maintain a keen legislative eye to the account so that adherence is maintained with any concerns of challenges that may impact this shared with the directors and client

About you

• Well-established experience in the outsourced retail sales and marketing services arena
• Fearless, can-do approach with an insatiable appetite to evidence the value of Blue Square to clients, and present with confidence at networking events and conferences
• Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations rooted in storytelling and substance
• Keen commercial eye aligned to KPI setting and measurement

Skill and Experience

• A leader of complex teams, you’ll fully understand the need for operational consistency across every aspect of a client led service delivery model and the value of our people to deliver this
• Extensive experience across retail, sales, and marketing services within omni-channel environments
• Presenting compelling communication at various levels and to a large audience
• A proven connector, strategic thinker, collaborator, and challenger.

What’s in it for you?

• Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 pa
• Bonus: 20% of salary, 10% accelerator bonus
• BUPA Health Insurance
• Life Assurance: 4 x annual salary
• Location: Hybrid / Field Based / Hertford.
