The run up to Christmas 2018 in Mobile retail saw the smartphone market at its most competitive since 2006. Our client Samsung approached the festive season more focused than ever to deliver phenomenal success, aiming to retain their current position as the number one smartphone manufacturer in the world.
We designed a fantastic #DoWhatYouCant incentive to energise the Field Force and nationwide retail environment during Q4 2018. The incentive would be measured against Total Sales Performance, Premium Sales Performance and Mystery Shop Recommendation & Knowledge.
A points system was developed which weighted focus towards key products, with 18 lucky winners going to Iceland for 3 days for the trip of a lifetime.
The trip saw the winners driving up active volcanoes, snowmobiling across glaciers and climbing mountains. They relaxed at luxury spas and outdoor hot tubs, visited the Geysers of Iceland, swam in the Blue Lagoon and enjoyed 2 nights luxury accommodation in Reykjavik – this was an incentive like no other.
This incentive won the FMBE Gold in 2019 for ‘Most Immersive Brand Event’
